When the jasmine flowers start to bloom they are picked and layered over the tea leaves over night. The jasmine flavour is then quickly absorbed by the tea which leaves the jasmine flowers pretty but in fact useless. The flowers which remain in this tea are purely for decoration. This kind of process is repeated with several batches of jasmine flowers.
