Fruit Infusions

Although it is not really a tea a lot of people call the fruit infusion also a fruit tea. Maybe this has something to do with the way you prepare this very delicious drink.
Just like regular tea you put it into a cup, a strainer or a tea filter and pour hot water over the dried fruit mixture. Then you let it stand for a while, usually around 8 to 10 minutes and remove the strainer or tea filter from your cup or teapot.

The flavours really develop once the tea has cooled down a bit. You may want to sweeten it with sugar, honey or stevia but some mixtures are so rich in flavour and taste that you do not really need to do this.
Fruit infusions are caffeine free and therefore also good for children as a healthy beverage. Much better than all those over sugared fizzy drinks you can buy. You can drink them hot or cold. Add some ice cubes to it in summer and it serves perfectly well as a caffeine free iced tea - really refreshing.
