Jun Chiyabari BIO* – top quality from Nepal
The success started in 2000 when three dedicated tea lovers founded this exclusive tea garden in East Nepal. It stretches over 75 hectares and produces, amongst other teas, half-fermented premium qualities in close corporation with several smaller tea farms.
These great teas are a serious competition for the Oolong teas of Darjeeling and Formosa. Every year only a few lots just under 100 kg net are exported.
The leaves, as well as the infusion, have an intense scent of hay flowers, a complex, freshly aromatic and slightly earthy character with a delicate sweet spiciness.
This rare tea speciality will be highly appreciated by real tea connoisseurs.
