Chrysanthemum tea is said to have certain health benefits
The chrysanthemum tea is made not from the leaves but from the blossoms, the flowers of the plant. In China, this beverage is well known for hundreds of years and people also drink it as a relief from certain medical conditions like high blood pressure, varicose veins, influenza, sore throat, diabetes and many more. However, not all of this is supported by scientific evidence! Some people have reported that drinking the infusion had helped them. But this could also be down to other reasons.
We at the Hebridean Tea Store would never advise you to drink certain teas as a cure to any conditions you might have unless it is scientifically proven.
In general, this herbal infusion can be infused several times. The infusion is golden and the taste flowery and similar to camomile but without the sweetness,
Not to be recommended if you are allergic to ragweed!
